Standard Features:
Microprocessor controlled electronic threading completely eliminates mechanical gearbox and gear changes. The spindle rotation is synchronized with servo-driven lead screws and Z-Axis feed rate to provide threading cycle for the selected inch or metric thread desired. This arrangement allows a grander range of inch threads from 4 – 120 TPI and metric threads from 0.2 – 10mm. This provides a higher degree of accuracy than is possible through conventional gearboxes found in the market today
LCD touch screen console controls are mounted on the swivel arm at headstock end for the operator’s convenience. The LCD screen allows the operator to input by touch, the spindle speeds, X & Y feed rates, inch or metric, right or left hand thread selection, variable speed selector dial, rapid retract dial, and e-stop
2-Axis digital readout system with 0.0001″ resolution is incorporated as standard equipment
