Standard Features:

Dual Spring-Loaded Pinch Rolls: The machine comes with dual spring-loaded on each side of all sanding stations to help enable the part being ground/sanded to properly feed through the machine without slipping or stalling inside the machine

Conveyor and Head Configuration: The machine will be built with one (1) fixed height conveyor which has a variable frequency drive allowing the operator to adjust the feed speed from 5 to 25 feet per minute by simply turning a dial on the control panel. The first sanding head which is the abrasive belt head, is powered by a 7.5 HP motor and the second sanding, which is the deburring disc head is powered by a 5 HP motor and has a Variable Frequency Drive on it to allow you to vary the speed of the turning disc to match the varying hardness of the materials being processed/deburred. The height for each sanding head can be adjusted independently of one another

Air Tension Cylinder for Easy Change of Abrasive Belt: The model 1375M-DM has an air cylinder to allow you to quickly change the abrasive belts by simply releasing the tension on the belt with a switch on the front side of the head and then simply re-activating the tension when the new abrasive belt has been put onto the machine. The air tension cylinder is also very important to provide you with the proper belt tension when running various types of abrasives that may require either more tension (such as a Non-woven/ScotchBrite type of belt) or less tension when running a fine finishing belt. The tension cylinder has an air pressure gauge to allow you to identify how much tension you have on the abrasive belt

Infeed Safety Stop Bar: A pivoting door is positioned at the infeed area opening and above the conveyor acts as an emergency stop for the operator when loading the machine. The swing door will activate a limit switch which shuts down the abrasive belt head and conveyor feed in emergency situations such as a part that is too thick or double-stacked preventing damage to the machine or possible injury

Digital Thickness Readout: Digital indicator indicates conveyor bed position in relation to grinding head/belt for accurate set-up to .001″. This feature is provided on each head to ensure proper setup and accuracy

Rubber Covered Infeed and Outfeed Hold-Down Rolls: Rubber-covered, spring-loaded rolls aid in holding sheet metal parts onto the conveyor as they pass through the machine

Air Operated Disc Brake: Used to stop the contact roll to assure consistent abrasive belt and brush head stoppage in approximately four seconds. This braking system will not fade under continuous braking and has non-sparking, easily replaceable linings. The brake disc is located on the main motor shaft for easy maintenance

Centralized Control Panel: Simple operator controls for machine operation. Conveyor feed, speed, abrasive belt and/or brush head are controlled at this centralized station

Motor Load Meter: Provided for each head to show the exact percentage of main motor horsepower being used during operation. This will assist the operator to make sure the proper sanding pressure is being applied for maximum results out of your abrasives

Hour Meter: Shows the actual running time of the machine which assists your maintanence/service personnel do scheduled lubrication of key components at proper intervals

Mechanical Specifications:

Weight: approx. 1,850 lbs.
